Advantages and disadvantages of traditional hydrosulfite-caustic soda peeling and thiourea dioxide-caustic soda peeling:
1. The storage stability of the insurance powder is poor, especially in the humid and hot environment, it is easy to decompose, and thiourea dioxide is oxidized, resulting in a decrease in the reducing power and affecting the practical effect.
2. The thermal stability of hydrosulfite is poor. In water above 60 ℃, it decomposes quickly and the effective utilization rate is low.
3. After the hydrosulfite is decomposed, a large amount of irritating gas will escape, which will seriously affect the production environment.
4. The peeling residue of hydrosulfite usually has a certain reduction and alkalinity, which is not good for sewage treatment.
5. After the hydrosulfite is wet, it has the characteristics of spontaneous combustion and has a fire hazard.
6. Safe color peeling, thiourea dioxide properties, high cost due to large amount. Thiourea dioxide is stable under acidic conditions; but in aqueous solution, especially in alkaline solution, thiourea dioxide will gradually decompose to generate urea and sulfoxylic acid. Sulfoxylic acid is an active and strong reducing agent, and the final products of thiourea dioxide are urea and sodium sulfate. Neither will be a COD and BOD increase. Thiourea dioxide has good thermal stability. Even in high temperature (80~100℃) alkaline solution, its decomposition rate is milder than that of hydrosulfite. Therefore, thiourea dioxide as a stripping agent has high utilization rate and strong stripping ability. Moreover, the pollution is small, the labor protection is good, and the unit price is higher, but the amount of thiourea dioxide should be paid attention to, but the cost is low.
Thiourea dioxide is a new type of environmentally friendly product with high reduction potential, good thermal stability, and convenient storage and transportation. Waste paper deinking and other fields.
Thiourea dioxide products are divided into ordinary grade, high-purity grade, ultra-high-purity grade, and nano-grade. At present, my country can only produce varieties below ultra-high-purity grade, mainly ordinary grade and high-purity grade. In the future, the main direction of development will be the production of high-purity and nano-level thiourea dioxide.
